CTE Awareness Month Events Planned for Northeast Indiana

Providers of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs will observe northeast Indiana’s CTE Awareness Month in May with signing ceremonies. Northeast Indiana Works and its partners designated the month in 2019. This will be the fourth year for the initiative. Northeast Indiana Works Issues RFP for Service Delivery

Northeast Indiana Works has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) for delivery of services in Economic Growth Region 3. 40 Middle Schoolers Try Hand at Elements of Manufacturing

Forty middle school students participated March 11 in Manufacturing Experience 2023 at the Amp Lab at Electric Works in Fort Wayne.  The students got hands-on experience in soldering, 3D printing, circuitry and the basics of electricity. Attendees took home their soldering kits so they could continue practicing with them. Beginning March 3, the Steuben County WorkOne Northeast career center will be at a new location. It is moving from 907 S. Wayne St., Angola, to the City County Building, 317 S. Wayne St., Suite 3F, Angola, IN.
