Wabash Valley Chrysler and Bulldog Battery partnered with WorkOne Northeast to deliver a powerful, real-world learning experience for participants in the Jail Chemical Addiction Program (JCAP).
As part of the WorkOne Job Readiness curriculum, both employers volunteered their time to conduct mock interviews with the JCAP class, giving participants an authentic opportunity to practice professional interviewing in a supportive, employer-led environment.
Representatives from Wabash Valley Chrysler and Bulldog Battery provided individualized, constructive feedback to help strengthen each participant’s confidence, communication skills, and overall job readiness. Both employers expressed willingness to consider qualified participants for employment opportunities after release, highlighting their commitment to second-chance hiring and supporting successful reentry efforts in the Wabash community.
This program illustrated the meaningful impact that collaboration between local employers, WorkOne, and the JCAP program can have on individuals preparing to reenter the workforce.
